Chidera
Chidera Nwadike (she/they) is a queer Igbo immigrant artist and healthcare worker. They were raised in the East Bay and currently living in Oakland, CA. Chidera’s journey with photography began in 2017, as casual collaborations with their sister and friends. As a photographer, they aim to immortalize and archive Blackness --- the people, the culture, the queerness, and the resistance. As a citizen of the American empire, they aim to create art that resists, opposes, and exposes the empire.
